I have always had a passion for photography and, fortunately, have managed to keep a camera on the front seat next to me when finding a delightful view of everyday reality much like Albert Ringer-Patzsch believed that photography should exploit its uniqiue ability to describe the world.

I especially enjoy black and white landscape and street photography, being diligent t0 its tradition of grayscale and image balance. Architecture and pattern, and the evident rightness and attention to detail that they demand has always influenced my eye. Lately I’ve been using black and white film because of the inherent print quality that results from its use.

I use Nikons D800, F100 and N75 (a nice find) cameras. I also use Fujifilm X100V, Rolleiflex 2.8f and 35s cameras and a recently purchased Fujifilm X-M5.

I enjoy sharing my images with others but mostly I look forward to learning from those that offer their comments and criticism.
